Hi, I’m Ruby, the founder and creator of Moon & Stars Jewellery, which I launched in 2022. What started as a creative escape during lockdown quickly became something more. I began making jewellery from old necklaces and bracelets, experimenting with beading and crochet. Soon friends and family were asking for pieces, and I realised this wasn’t just a hobby, it was my passion.

I grew up on the Isle of Wight, where I developed a deep love for nature, the outdoors, and all things fluffy and four-legged. My family also spends time on the Greek island of Paxos - a place of crystal-clear waters, twinkling stars, and breathtaking skies. Both islands inspire my designs, which often reflect the sun, sea, and sky I adore.

Since launching Moon & Stars, I’ve continued to develop my craft, now working mainly with silver. We’ve hosted five seasonal pop-ups and had our first makers’ market season last summer, including events like The Garlic Festival, The Chale Show, and The Sheep Dog Trials. We also held our first beading party last winter; a huge success we’ll definitely repeat!

This year, I’ve been studying for a Diploma in Jewellery Fundamentals with At the Bench Academy, learning everything from stone setting to wax casting. I can’t wait to bring these new skills into future commissions and collections.
